A Miniature Shoe Shop made in Doll House size 1/12th Scale
I can't tell you how enchanted I am by little shoes.
I love all things miniature, but teeny little shoes
are definitely close to the top of the list of absolutely, positively,
for sure and forever favourite minis of all.I became completely obsessed with them
for about a year. I found some.Tibetan silver charms
on eBayThe shoe charms were close enough to 1 /12th scale to be acceptable,
so it didn't take me long to start planning to create a miniature shoe shop.
I collected and painted tiny shoes for months and adore my little shoe shop so
much that,even though I made it , I still can't believe it's really mine.
The shop/ room box that houses the shoe shop was purchased
at Victoria Miniland in British Columbia

The black button trims on
the shoes are actually tiny, wee sequins.
I call this line of mini shoes
''Dots''.
Another view through the
opening in the roof. I make the shoe boxes from
card stock
using Adobe Photoshop to create the design, then lots of
cutting out and folding..
I usually paint the lid of the shoes boxes
with ordinary acrylic paint.
This not only makes the shoe box look better,
it also seems to give the box a bit more strength.
